Approval of a new growth policy for the City's General Plan. The policy "City of Villages" accommodates future housing needs through redevelopment and infill in mixed-use "Village" of higher density attached homes, public space and commercial and/or employment centers. The DEIR addresses 17,000 to 37,000 additional attached homes which may potentially occur by 2020.
